  1. "I think"... I have bed bugs... I recently travelled to California and have red bumps on my skin. I did a little reading online, and yes...the bumps are in a row. Right now my bag is outside of my own house (it won't be allowed in by my wife)! What do you recommend to debug so I can get my suitcase in the house!

If you don't have any bed bug prevention or protection supplies, there are still things you can do.

If you bag is a bag and not a suitcase, take out anything that might be affected by heat like gum, deodorant, shaving cream and place these items in a ziploc bag while still outside of your house. Place all of your belongings such as clothes and the bag itself if it will fit into your dryer. Carry everything inside the house in plastic bags, preferably clear ones. Place your belongings in the dryer on high for a cycle. Afterwards...wash them in water as hot as the items are made to tolerate.
Make sure to shower thoroughly just in case a hitchhiker or it's eggs are on your person. If you develop an irritation that persists from the bites, see your physician otherwise they should subside. For precautionary measures, I would recommend getting a bed bug monitor which we do sell at the following link http://www.usbedbugs.com/Monitors-Traps-Barriers_c_118.html. If you are a frequent traveler search 'BugZip' and 'Packtite' on our site, consider using bed bug monitors to detect any problems early. If you get bit again, or discover bugs in your home, let us know and we'll recommend a more thorough solution.

    Sincerely,
